Description
Experis Finance are currently recruiting for a Qualified (ACA,ACCA,CIMA) Experienced Financial Accountant to be based in Cheltenham working for a Global business in the general ledger function. You will ideally come from a large blue chip organisation and have had exposure to working in multiple currencies and FX alongside aspects of Finance Manager or Controller roles.
Initially on a 12 month contract with high possibility for contract extension and opportunity for the role to become permanent.
Responsibilities for the role will include;
Supporting the wider General ledger team, FM, FC experience ideal
Working with FX and ledgers for multiple currencies
Reviewing balance sheet and P&L to ensure appropriate valuation and resolve any queries
Preparing appropriate reconciliation, account analysis and general ledger entries
Monthly reporting cycles and month end closing process
Reviewing journal entry listing and resolving prior to month endmonth end closing process
