1) Good customer Interaction and team managing skills.
2) Extensive hands-on experience and good knowledge in Windows operating system.
3) Strong Analytical and problem solving skills.
4) Ready to work in 24* 7 environments.
5) Willingness to work on High volume environment.
6) Manage Trouble and request queues ensuring timely resolution based on SLA's.
7) Participate on Team meetings with offshore and onsite teams when required.
8) Sound knowledge in remote server management and troubleshooting.
Mandatory:
1) 5+ years of experience in Windows system administration.
2) OS installation, up gradation and troubleshooting.
3) Windows patch management through Tivoli and tracking.
4) Knowledge in troubleshooting of IIS.
5) Knowledge in clustering/replication/mirroring.
6) OS hardening as per guidelines laid out by design team/security team.
7) System monitoring using Tivoli and troubleshooting
8) Problem resolution and RCA for system issues
9) OS/Patches upgrade.
10) Data Backup and Restore using standard backup tool.
11) Responsibilities include hardware, OS, level troubleshooting.
12) Very good knowledge in backup technologies like EMC networker and VERITAS Netbackup is an added advantage
