Description for the Infrastructure Specialist:
My client in Amsterdam are looking for an Infrastructure Specialist with knowledge of UNIX, Sybase UNIX/XML Scripting, performance testing and sparring partner for the deliveries of the development team to review.
General knowledge/experience of the Infrastructure Specialist:
You will be required to build, review and carry out the testing of infrastructure projects for the client. Experience with performance testing on UNIX combination with Sybase database is required for this position. Good communication skills in order to enter into discussions with business and development departments.
Technical knowledge/experience Infrastructure Specialist:
1. IBM UNIX 5 & 6
2. Sybase
3. UNIX & XML Scripting
4. JMS/MQ interface
5. XfB/(s) FTP interface.

Other wishes:
Available throughout the duration of the project. Prepare to sometimes irregular scheduled services such as evening work on weekends. Knowledge of other UNIX versions (such as Solaris and Linux) and/or Middleware components (WAS and Oracle) are considered a Pre.
Responsibilities:
The timely installation/delivery of AIX environments according to guidelines, solving technical problems during design and with the advice and assistance of application specialists on AIX issues.
