Role: Implementation Manager -Retail Banking Operations

Overview
Our client, a major UK retail bank, requires the services of an Implementation Manager, who has experience within retail banking. You will have previous experience of acting as an Implementation Manager. The role is working to reduce the operations group site footprint (Credit Ops, Retail & wealth Ops and Wholesale Ops) from 27 sites to 15
Core duties of the role:
A large proportion of work will be migrating out from a number of sites to other locations. Colleagues are remaining in situ in order to take in new work from other Divisions, while a large number of Colleagues are relocating into said site.
In order for this to be successful, the building will need to be "restacked" multiple times by the Property team in order to get colleagues in their correct end state seats. This will result in the IT and Telephony teams needing to undertake extensive work in the building under very tight timescales to ensure the right kit is in each desk position.
The purpose of this role is for the individual to carry out an Implementation/Site readiness role, to ensure colleagues/teams moving floors happens to plan and all Technology installations happen to plan.
In addition to supporting solutions in relation to Mail and Business Continuity
- Work with Group Property, to ensure all plans are agreed with, key stakeholders, existing occupants and new occupants and colleagues are moved to new locations throughout the year in line with site readiness plans
- Work with IT to ensure that continuous phased installations happen to plan and to specified IT requirements
- Work with Telephony Team to ensure the right telephony technology is on the right desk for each team
- Oversee IT and Telephony testing
- Continuous Communication with the impacted teams and Senior Managers on progress and supporting "snagging" lists post move
- Reporting into the Programme on progress to plan
Core skills and experience required:
- Experience of Site closures/exits - The management and co-ordination of property and work moves to another location
- Ability to work with our Property/IT and Telephony teams and have an agreed escalation process in place
- Attention to Detail - There will be multiple and complex moves that will need a lot of co-ordination
- Strong stakeholder Management
- Managing fast paced change and strong problem solving

The role will require a high level of flexible working because of work moves across weekends. There could be a requirement to travel to other locations.
