Credit Controller
4 months Fixed Term Contract

Salary up to £24k per annum + bonus
A fantastic opportunity has arisen based in the London for a Credit Controller. The successful candidate will be responsible of maximising my clients cash flow through the timely collection of debts and reduce aged debt in line with company targets and credit policy, and to develop and maintain excellent working relationships both with external customers and other internal departments.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Cash collection
- Ascertaining details of queries preventing payment
- Understanding customers payment processes
- Developing improved payment processes in conjunction with customers
- Developing and maintaining excellent customer relationships
- Providing debt updates
- Escalating debt related issues
- Improving internal/customer processes
- Sourcing and resolving queries
- Ledger reviews
- Escalation of debt related issues
- Cash and debt performance reporting
- Logging queries
- Tracking and monitoring progress of queries
- Resolving queries
Key Requirements
- Extensive experience of Credit Control in a large corporate environment
- Expeirence with dealing of ledgers of £5-10 million
- Initiative and resilience
- Good standard of numeracy
- Ideally knowledge of SAP (not essential, training will be provided)
- Experience of computerised accounting systems
- Excellent communication skills with ability to deal with people at all levels
- Flexibility and ability to work with change
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve deadlines
- Ability to prioritise
