Front Office C# DEVELOPER (FX OPTIONS, MARKET RISK)
My client, a financial services company in Central London, are urgently seeking a Front Office C# Developer (FX Options, Market Risk) to join their Front Office development team on a contract basis for an initial 4 month contract term.
The Front Office C# Developer will join the Front Office Development team in enhancing the Front Office FX Options Derivatives business systems to deliver additional regulatory risk reporting requirements for Market Risk. As a Front Office C# Developer you must be able to work in a highly dynamic environment with demanding clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Delivery of new functionality using industry best practices to deliver business value
*Enhancements to existing functionality to extend risk reporting coverage
*Supporting Market Risk in the refinement of existing risk reporting scenarios by running regression testing and resolving issues
*Discussion of requirements and testing issues with the business users
*Working with other members of the team bringing previous experiences of technology to the team
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
*Experience in a Front Office or Market Risk investment banking role
*Experience trade pricing and risk calculation processes using analytics
*A hands on developer with a can do attitude ie knows how to "ship software"
*Excellent .NET skills (emphasis on Server Side components)
*Excellent relational database skills
*Excellent communication skills
Desirable
*FX Options experience
*Knowledge of Market Risk & required regulatory reporting for Investment Banking
*Java
*Sybase Aleri
*Use of a compuute grid such as DataSynapse or Platform Symphony
