  • Understand UK business requirements and work closely with HR to ensure that all compensation and benefit requirements are delivered
  • Understand the UK market place to ensure that the UK C&B deliverables are competitive
  • Work closely with the head of UK HR to agree and drive implementation of key programmes which will align with both regional and Group C&B requirements but also take into account legal and IR implications
  • Ensuring that UK requirements are represented and considered in any regional projects and issues requiring regional approach are flagged in a timely manner
  • Supporting other subject matter specialisms as required

Responsibilities:

  • Project manage locally key regional and local programmes, including the C&B calendar of events within a part unionized business
  • Ensure for the assigned programmes, that global compensation and benefits policies, directives and instructions are audited and implemented correctly.
  • Develop and implement local programmes specific compensation and benefit strategies, policies, directives and instructions to support the Group strategy and local business needs.
  • Maintain knowledge of local external best practice
  • Maintain knowledge of legislative changes which will impact the design/implementation of the specified programmes
  • Analyze and evaluate external and internal data relevant to the specified programmes.
  • Develop relevant statistical analyses for local level decision making
  • Design relevant communication tools for local implementation where appropriate
  • Work along side the regional C&B Programme managers to input local knowledge and ideas on the design of relevant systems for local implementation cluster heads and ensure appropriate stakeholders are included and informed
  • Recognize emerging local problems/issues and design and implement innovative compensation and benefits solutions in line with programme area
  • Manage relationships with external consultants and suppliers.
  • Ensure local consistency across all Ericsson units in the application of programme policies and practices at country or region level so that Ericsson is perceived and works as ONE company.
  • Support Change Management initiatives from a programme perspective
