Infrastructure Software Engineer in JEE and Coldfusion +9 years
Skills
- Multiple years working experience in the Java programming language
- Proven working experience and extensive knowledge of Grails and Groovy
- Proven working experience in ColdFusion, PHP, JQuery and CFWheels.
- Proven working experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Crowd, Fisheye, Crucible)
- Proven working experience in Subversion usage and administration
- Proven working experience in JEE technology Oracle Weblogic and Tomcat, including JMS and JavaMail.
- Proven working experience in web services including SOAP and REST
- Proven working experience in relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostGreSQL)
- Proven working experience in directories including LDAP
- Knowledge of web security and of the techniques used to address main vulnerabilities
- Fluent in both English and French
Tasks
- Providing technical support for the Mailmas application via handling all incidents recorded within the service management tool SMT/Irma,
- Follow-up of change requests within CITnet, a web-based developer collaboration environment at the client including a problem tracking tool,
- Analysis, design, implementation, unit tests, integration tests, documentation and release of maintenance modules corresponding to a release work order containing a set of prioritized change requests,
- Performance analysis and troubleshooting.
- Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system in production deployment and with training administrators and users
The Infrastructure Software Engineer takes care of the following engineering activities related to the CITnet service:
- Design, development, tests, documentation, release control, maintenance and technical support of infrastructure software components and services matching the specifications
- Provision of technical studies, technical expertise and technical evaluations in relation with possible alternatives included within the roadmap for CITnet's evolution.
- Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system for production deployment and in training administrators and users
- Assistance with second level support and incident management for the operational CITnet service.
