The Compliance Analyst will provide regulatory support to the Compliance Manager.
The Key accountabilities for the position will be:
*Provide assistance in all compliance and regulatory related to the Compliance Manager; and deputise for the Compliance Manager (who is the key point of contact for the Financial Conduct Authority) when absent.
*Ensure Financial Conduct Authority permissions and passports are requested when appropriate.
*Report/liaise with the Financial Conduct Authority and other supervisory bodies as directed.
*Monitor, review and oversight FCA regulatory change to ensure the business unit has considered the necessary regulatory change within its processes.
*Maintain and update the regulatory communications log and policy to ensure all notifiable breaches are identified and handled appropriately.
*Assist Compliance Manager with preparations for Arrow and other regulator visits; and the subsequent RMP plan that will require ongoing regulatory oversight.
*Work with the Compliance manager to ensure that all regulatory retail conduct initiatives, such as Treating Customers Fairly continue to be Embedded within the company.
*Produce regulatory MI as requested by Compliance Manager.
*Covering Compliance Analyst PRA oversight as required by Compliance Manager.
The skills and experience required to perform this role are:-
*At least 3 years experience in an insurance.
*A good working knowledge of the UK Regulatory Rules and Principles, in particular relating to passporting, insurance classes of business, regulatory reporting.
*Working experience within a compliance team, understanding the risks and issues involved on second line of defence oversight of the business.
