Our client is a well - reputable organisation have created a brand new role for their Melbourne - based support team and are looking for a motivated & enthusiastic IT support professional to assist with their growing workload.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as first point of contact/escalation for internal users - including general enquiries, support, training & incident management;
  • Root cause analysis;
  • Change, configuration and capacity management;
  • Daily checks of application logs for error and proactive fault management;
  • Liaising with internal & external technical teams;
  • Providing a high degree of customer service;
  • Assisting with the billing & sales processes as required.

You will have:

  • A background in IT support, with some experience in supporting software & applications;
  • Exceptional customer service skills;
  • Strong analytical & problem- solving skills;
  • An understanding of web based and Internet technology;
  • Very strong written & verbal communication skills;
  • A relevant tertiary qualification.

Exposure to XML and Web Services applications would also be highly advantageous
