SCCM 2007 Implementation Consultant - Major Blue Chip - Dublin
Job Requirement
The client is seeking an experienced consultant to implement Microsoft SCCM within a large and complex environment. The successful candidate will need to be able to implementation the approved design under an aggressive timeframe.
Key Technical Requirements
Extensive experience of SCCM 2007 across large and complex environments (references required to attest to previous projects)
Key Skills required
Software distribution issues fault finding and analysis
Good understanding of SCCM software distribution mechanism and industry best practices
Creation and manipulation of task sequences.
Creation and manipulation of packages for software distribution
Creation and manipulation of programs for software distribution process
Creation and manipulation of advertisement for software distribution purposes
Extensive knowledge of all relevant log files for both client and server troubleshooting
Site topology replication and diagnosis
Construction and editing of WMI queries
Batch, LDAP and VB Scripting experience
Device driver manipulation and injection processes
Image capture processes (sysprep )
Software update mechanism (SUP) configuration, manipulation and implementation
PXE boot certificate generation and renewal processes
Nomad PXE lite certificate generation and renewal processes
SMS Nomad enterprise support, fault finding, troubleshooting
Extensive knowledge of SCCM backup and DR procedures
SQL query construction for custom reporting
Extensive knowledge of Wintel server operating systems Windows
Extensive knowledge of Wintel desktop operating systems Windows 2000-XP-WIN7
Enterprise infrastructural knowledge
Microsoft Active Directory
Microsoft IIS
Microsoft SQL, and SQL reporting
Microsoft Group policies
Knowledge of DNS
Network topology and routing
