Description
Our client is looking for a Senior Datawarehouse Tester to guarantee a high level of quality for applications delivered and validated under projects or programmes. As Senior Datawarehouse Tester it is a challenging position with high levels of accountability.
You will have to review analysis, prepare test data, prepare and execute tests, this, for complex DWH projects and possibly for the OFSAA programme (re-engineering of a part of the Datawarehouse).
He/She will be reporting to Testing Team Manager and to some Test Managers from the same team
Scope
- Analyse the Requirements (incl. their acceptance criteria)
- Analyse/comment the Test Strategies in depth
- Challenge approaches and solutions together with the Test Managers to be sure that the right solutions are being put in place
- Review the Analysis documents
- Prepare test requirements, test data, and test scenarios
- Execute test scenarios and document the results (incl. defect management)
- Collaborate closely with the Solution Delivery Teams (software design and delivery), colleagues from the Test Team incl. the Test Managers, Project Managers etc. to assure an efficient delivery
- Be an ambassador of the Testing team, with a high level of quality as main focus, applying and contributing to improve the test processes
Profile:
- You have a Master, Academic or Bachelor degree (or equivalent through experience)
- You have minimum 8 years of work experience, including 4 years in a relevant role as a Senior Software Tester
- A strong experience in data warehousing projects is a must
- You have a strong experience in SQL
- You are an experienced user of test methodology (TMAP, ISTQB) and test tools (eg HP Quality Center)
- You have coordination skills
- You speak English fluently, with fluent Dutch or French being a plus
