Description
We are currently seeking a MES Engineer in the Alpharetta area to join our growing team! In this role you will have the opportunity to see the world! This position requires the ability to travel up to 50% Internationally along with a solid background in MES and working with external customers. Technical Skills
- (3+ years) level knowledge of MS-SQL server 2005 or 2008
- (3+ years) level knowledge of C#
- (3+ years) level knowledge of Visual Studio environment
- Intermediate to expert level knowledge of MS-Reporting services
- Basic knowledge of ASP.NET
- Intermediate level knowledge of Windows security (server or XP)
- .Net/Web Services
- OPC HDA/OPC DA/OPC AE
- DCOM
Nice to Haves
- Experience with 2008 Server security
- Experience with virtual environments
- Experience with and troubleshooting in networking environments.
- Controls/Automation experience
Required Experience
- Manufacturing or MMM Industries
- Quality assurance, and related quality documentation focus
- Understand scope, push back or escalate as appropriate when scope creep is identified
- Identify project risks and communicate those with options to the Project Manager or Technical Lead.
- Willing to travel
- Identify when problem escalation or resolution is required
- Ability to interact with customers
- Process improvement methodologies (Lean, 6-Sigma, etc).
- Interpret and understand process mapping, and P&ID drawings
- Verbal communication skills
- Interpret customer requests and ability to respond in non-tech-speak
- Written documentation skills - sees value in documentation and process (avoid re-inventing the wheel).
