Description
Senior MES (Manufacturing Execution Specialist) Functional Analyst defines, develops, tests, trains, implements, and supports MES and JIS systems within our customers organistion.- To analyze business processes which require the support of MES and JIS tools
- To configure and develop MES and JIS tools according to the users requirements
- Vendor management, including selection of the right tools and vendors for certain solutions
- To analyze and develop two directional interfaces to machines, PLC's, tools and devices to communicate to people on the shop floor
- To analyze and develop interfaces to other systems (SAP, electronic communication modules, EDI, supply web)
- To develop new logistic systems to support new JIS functionality
- To understand new technological developments and incorporate these developments into the department's application development and delivery strategy in the area of machine communication and new techniques to control flows in JIS plants
- This position helps to develop these technical skills within the IT department by providing mentoring and training.

- To document all new development and modifications of existing settings according to TA's documentation standards
- To resolve assigned (functional) trouble tickets within the application area assigned
- To follow our customers IT policies, procedures and strategy
- 3-5 years experience working at a senior level in IT systems with an in depth understanding of MES systems concepts. Minimum 4 years experience designing MES systems.
- Good experience of project methodology including planning, testing and documentation standards.
- Experienced in providing technical and functional training courses
Certificate/License:
- Desired if offered in area of expertise.
