Cash Management Analyst - Major Blue Chip - Worcestershire/West Midlands
Duties and Responsibilities.
To ensure that for a number of EMEA Legal Entities, that the payments and receipts are processed in a timely and accurate manner, reporting to Cash flow forecast team to maintaining adequate funding and for preparing all monthly bank account reconciliations and associated journals. On a daily basis complete reconciliation on Oracle Cash Management of electronically imported bank statements. ie identifying all receipts and booking to Accounts Receivable ledger and identifying all payments and booking to Accounts payable ledger. Make sure that all payroll and VAT payments are made in a timely fashion. Use of Internet banking software - Citibank, Deutsche Bank, HSBC. Regular contact with client in-country offices regarding payments, contact with Outsourcing companies who deal with client finances. Contact with Local Country banks. Help when necessary with queries from Financial accounts when country audit is taking place. Depending on experience also: Calculating daily Global pool deposit/borrowing requirements. Occasional User acceptance testing re banking software and Oracle Cash Management module.
Skills and Experience required.
Essential:
Bank reconciliations, General Ledger Journal Entries, Business Online Banking. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Good communication skills. Good appreciation of Oracle Financials. Able to deal with foreign currency conversions.
Desirable:
At least 1 year in a Cash Management background with a good understanding of accounting principles and ledger operations. Experience of talking to banks. Good Investigative/problem solving skills
