Description
Software Engineer for Platform & Drivers required for our major Belgian based client. They specialise in the development of Gateways, Set Top Boxes and Modems.
You will be involved in software development on platforms (new chipsets) and drivers (new hardware interfaces)
Main Responsibilities:
-Develop and debug Embedded SW/FW, mainly in C
-Develop/Port SW/FW to new Embedded platforms
-Bugfixing/Maintenance in your area
-Find software workarounds for hardware limitations
Experience & Technical knowledge required:
-Embedded SW development (mainly Kernel space)
-C programming
-Debugging on target (JTAG, gdb)
-Linux Embedded development
-Linux Kernel knowledge
-Experience with RTOS is a pro
-Networking protocols (L2/L3)
-Basic hardware measurements (scope, multimeter, logic analyzer)
-SW version control (Clearcase)
-Multicore systems
