Description of servicesOur client requires the services of a consultant team to support the Desktop and Collaboration project in the context of the IT Roadmap programme.
The DAC project plans implement new Desktop and Collaboration services including the Back End infrastructure. In this context, the DAC project team is requiring an external service to design, to define the related processes, script, implement and run the DAC multi stage environment.
Deliverables
- Detailed Architecture and Design documents of the multi-stage environments
- Document all the related processes for setting up, maintaining and updating the environments
- Service description describing the offered services for the multi-stage environments, its SLAs and the related interfaces
- Prepare and document all the related scripts and configurations
- Implement the multi-stage environments on client's hardware/software stack.
- Implement the different release cycles in theses environments
- Run the multi-stage environments under the authority/responsibility of the client's environment manager.
- In a first phase the current service contract will run until the end of 2012 with possible further extensions.
Required skills
- In depth experience of Microsoft technologies
- In depth experience in setting up and running multi-stage environments and especially those based on MS technologies.
- Proven relevant experience in large project, involving people from a multinational, multicultural environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English both orally and in writing (English will be the working language as well as the language used for all documentation).
- Familiarity with modern software/architectural concepts such as SOA is an advantage.
- Knowledge of French and/or German is also an advantage
