FIX APPLICATION SUPPORT ANALYST
My financial services client based in Central London is urgently seeking a contract Application Support Analyst (FIX) who is experienced in the support of FIX (main focus), DMA and algorithmic trading applications.
Responsibilities:
*To provide functional and technical assistance for suite of applications spanning FIX, DMA and Algorithmic trading.
*Main focus will be on FIX and an internal order management system.
*Role will involve daily liaison with application user community from front to Back Office and involve timely resolution of system problems/issues in line with user requirements.
*Role will involve ensuring the well being of the systems as a whole
*Communication will occur with end user departments as well as development/infrastructure teams.
Experience:
*Deep understanding of FIX.
*Experience within FX environment a must.
*Good knowledge of financial markets (EMC & FIC)
*Basic understanding of SQL and UNIX.
