Connect is the client`s largest and most important IT related project; it is also the client`s highest priority project. It will deliver simplified, standard, cost-effective processes to the client`s business functions. The project will increase efficiencies and enable business value realisation throughout our company in support of our change Agenda, "fit for the future". These improved processes will be supported by an ERP solution, configured specifically for the client needs. Connect is working on a challenging timeline planning to deliver its solutions to the client before the beginning of 2014.

The Connect project needs to strengthen its Masterdata Team with an additional role: Data cleansing.

Role description

  • Set up SSIS in order to be able to run analysis on data from various Legacy systems, mainly focusing on data quality and data cleansing
  • Gather data from the various Legacy systems and implement these into SSIS
  • Create and Run queries and reports in SSIS based upon the identified areas we will migrate (as eg described in the detailed level design documents).
  • Profiling source data and run analysis. Meaning examining the data available in an existing data source and collecting statistics and information about that data.
  • Implement validation rules
  • Publish and communicate results (including exporting data in various formats including CSV and on webservers)
  • Work in close collaboration with the various Master Data teams

Skills and competence

These requirements need to be specified in the candidates CV

  • Good knowledge and experience about SSIS and SQL Server.
  • Be able to set-up SSIS and implement information from various Legacy systems.
  • Be able to conduct various data quality analysis (data profiling etc.)
