Embedded Software Engineer - Amsterdam
Job Description:
International Broadband Telecommunication company requires a Software Engineer that will be responsible for design, development, unit test, maintenance and final documentation of specific components. The Software Engineer will be part of a dynamic and international development team in a challenging environment.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Review and input of component designs and planning for implementation of new functionality.
- Estimation and planning.
- Act as resource for coleagues and provide assistance to other functional areas such as system test and customer support.
- Work independently with moderate eve of guidance and direction
- Share know edge and support with other software engineers
- Troub eshoot, refactor and continuously improve the code quality
- Pro-active, qua ity-minded with a positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- verbal and written in English
Skills/Education Required:
- 5+ years' experience Embedded Software Developer
- Rea Time OS system Experience
- DaVinci chipset knowledge
- Knowledge of DVB protocols and MPEG will be a plus
- MPEG TS, MPEG2, MPEG4 is a plus
- Know edge of Codec will be a plus
- Experience with both Linux and Windows API development
- OO Design experience
- IPTV/Broadcast TV systems is a plus
