Description
Configuration Manager sought for 6 months contract opportunity based in Gothenburg/Sweden.On our platform there will soon be 4 different brands. Every brand has 4 environments: development, test, stage and production. Operations is currently responsible for the environments in production. We are seeking a Configuration Manager for our soon to be 12 development and test environments. As the Configuration Manager you will work closely with our Test Manager and Development Manager. The work involves controlling the code base, environments and their integration to the neighboring systems. The Configuration Manager we are looking for should have several years experience in similar work and be self-driven. You need to work operationally with our tools and Servers.
The project duties are:Manage the codebase across different environments.
Keep track of the configuration in each environment.
Know how we should deal with code freezes and merging of code.
Maintaining the overall map of all systems involved and their different environments and integrations.
Know which versions of which is in which environment.
Keep track of what work is going on in which system and how it affects our environments.
Manage the development and test environments that each project/management uses and when.
Be the projects and Managments single point of contact in relation to infrastructure and security departments for change orders in network configuration.
Drive the automation of the version numbering and tagging.
Drive the automation of the deploy process
The ideal candidate should have the following skill set:
Senior Level Configuration Manager.
Operational work experience to re-configure our tools and Servers.

PowerShell Scripting
Microsoft Visual Studio (2010)
