For an existing contract with one of our direct clients we are urgently looking for a
Senior Linux Expert
Start: ASAP/Duration: four month's/Location: Luxembourg/ProjectID: 1193
As Linux Expert with focus on backup and recovery you will provide the team in backup and recovery of diverse Linux-Systems (DMS, Mail and more) incl. virtualized environments.
Your responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Changes of Linux Systems in daily operations
- Backup automation with Linux
- Test of Backup automation Scripting
- Backup and recovery Policy Management
Your profile:
- degree in computer science
- Strong experience in Linux (Debian, RedHat)
- Good knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
- Experience in Shell
- Knowledge of Perl or Python will be a Plus
- Experience in VMWare
- Knowledge of Tivoli Storage Management or similar is nice to have
- Knowledge of Lotus Notes incl. Domino Server is a Plus
- Ideally Experience in NetApp
- Experience in Banking or Finance industry is a Plus
- Fluent in English
- Working well under pressure
- Being Team Player
