Our client, a global technology company is looking for an accomplished Financial Accountant for a period of 12 months.Reporting to the Finance Director, you will lead the Statutory and Tax Reporting processes in the UK, ensuring that all operations are conducted in line with financial policies and controls. This will include preparation of Statutory Accounts and Tax Returns, ensuring continued partnership with the Statutory Auditors and External Consultants. Quarterly management of the US Gaap Current and Deferred Tax reporting. Analysis of UK results. Support of the internal finance functions (Tax, Treasury, Financial Services, Business Finance) as appropriate to ensure full regulatory compliance. Adhoc analysis for the FD.You will be a fully qualified Accountant. Commercially minded, with effective communication skills. Have an ability to work independently. Have experience of statutory accounting and tax compliance and UK GAAP. You will also ideally have some knowledge of US GAAP and exposure to large ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
