We are looking for a real commercial savvy, client facing relationship manager who is sales focused and client focused with a commercial understanding and appreciation of interest rate hedging products.

Key Responsibilities:

Review the Client Testimony and Sales Standards/Regulatory Assessment/Contemporaneous Evidence report from Phase 1 of file review process. If necessary, question the Phase 1 report authors and any other appropriate individuals and obtain any further information considered necessary to allow a fully informed decision to be reached in regard to whether or not, and what family of, redress is due.
Decide on a framework for appropriate redress terms and value that the client should receive. 
Instruct the Redress Design Team to build draft options and pitch book/redress letter pack based on the above client specific redress terms and value framework.
Review the draft proposal designs and approve (or reject and request re-work) that these options are in-line with the terms and values set out previously.
Submit the finalised proposal through the Redress Sanctions Committee Dependent on the governance tolerances and discretion's set out.
Submit the sanctioned redress proposal pack to the Skilled Person (pack to include full rationale for the decisions made).
Upon clearance from the SP, advise the Client Engagement Team that they may progress with logistics to set up client meeting.
Engage with Legal/Litigation Group for agreement on additional redress to be potentially offered, and client engagement strategy in this respect, as appropriate.
Undertake client meeting alongside RSG, Coverage/BBS RD and SP (silent observer) with objective of explaining redress and gaining client's acceptance.
Undertake a fresh decision review should the client reject redress and request an alternative redress solution. If agree with client's counter proposal (once the counter proposal has been redesigned by the design team and the alternative proposal has been through Redress Sanctions Committee/discretionary approval) re-engage with the client to conclude redress. If reject counter proposal, instruct Client Engagement Team to confirm decision to client and update Litigation Team.

SKILLS NEEDED:
Understanding of UK SME client space - experience of assessing typical SME client borrowing requirements/structures and face to face engagement with SME's.
Experience of, and ability to, conduct challenging client meetings (often in the presence of client's advisers) involving negotiation and mediation skills.
Commercial understanding and appreciation of interest rate hedging products for SME's.
Decision making track record.
Commercially savvy.
Strong analytical skills.
Solid interpersonal & communication skills.
Success driven.
