Description
One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for an Infrastructure Architect.
Role
You will define and implement the infrastructure architecture working with the business and technical architects to define the application architecture;
You will be responsible for the preparation of technical projects within IT Operations relating to telemetry, fibre-optic networks, Servers, storage, and databases. You manage these projects within the agreed timing, in a quality manner and with respect for budget and other resources;
You will oversee that technical standards are maintained and will be responsible for database configuration.
You will keep abreast of technological developments, thus maintain the knowledge base within IT operations for the management of the existing infrastructure project development.
You will contribute to the daily optimal functioning of the IT infrastructure (compliance with the SLA) and you will support the IT management processes.
Profile:
Background in Civil or Industrial Engineering plus a specialization in IT
Experience with centralized IT systems and infrastructure architecture
IT generalist plus a broad knowledge of and interest in different IT systems (Unix and Windows at the server level, networking, SAN technology);
People management and communication skills,
You have a good knowledge of Dutch, English and French
