Additional resource required to meet project deadlines and deliverables. These are hands-on roles responsible for providing technical support for Aerospace products.

Experienced Debug and Test engineers are required, capable of complex fault finding on aerospace products down to component level. Successful candidates will need to be experienced in Modern Bench Test methods with excellent de-bug skills to component level, with a structured approach to root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action.

  • To support the development of new products, ensuring their smooth transition into production.
  • Commission new designs giving feedback and support to design engineers.
  • Provide pre-production support to Manufacturing Cells over Engineering and Test issues, establishing Root cause analysis and process improvements as appropriate
  • To create Acceptance Test & Environmental Stress Screening Procedures
  • Perform all pre-production Acceptance Test & Environmental Screening Procedures
  • Training test technicians.
  • FRACAS - support to failure reporting and corrective action system
  • Implement and adhere to handover checklist as part of the toll gate process

Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent Debug skills down to component level
  • Understanding unit level problems, identify root cause and put corrective actions in place
  • Power/Analogue/Digital knowledge
  • Manufacturing and engineering knowledge
  • Good people skills and communication
  • Willingness to work alone and as part of a small team.
  • Self motivation.
  • Excellent knowledge of engineering equipment ie Oscilloscopes, Analysers, Meters etc

Ideally:

  • Experience in the Aerospace Industry
