Key responsibilities:

  • Day to day maintenance of change requests in relation to the project plans to ensure agreed deadlines are met
  • Collecting, understanding, and transmitting the business requirements for the project, and translating these into change requests detailed test plans
  • Review departmental system processes for core banking systems and develop change requests for system improvements including new functionality and automation
  • Co-ordinate the delivery of change requests in accordance with agreed timeframes
  • Plan and coordinate testing during build updates on the core system
  • Execute the test scenarios and test scripts
  • System testing and project work for core banking systems
  • Field, log and organise incoming service requests, document changes and resolutions through acknowledgement of resolutions to the staff
  • Liaise with third party vendors
  • Support core banking applications
  • Assist with project research
  • Communicating with internal teams and external clients to deliver functional requirements
  • Provide support and assistance to non-technical staff for Business Process issues

Key requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Application support experience
  • Strong knowledge of software development life cycle
  • Ability to work well both in a team and unsupervised
  • Retail banking experience highly desirable
