This team is chartered to find the best web results for every search query and they aim to do this better than anyone. The Relevance Engineering team powers and complements the experimentation effort, along with the globalization of relevance features for the search engines across the world. Currently this team has an opening for an Engineer focused on Infrastructure, responsible for developing technologies to ensure rapid movement from idea, to experiment, to shipping features, including measuring user satisfaction. You will have a lot of exposure to the entire Search stack. You will be able to see your features from inception, through implementation and being leveraged 24x7 by Search developers.

Requirements:

  • Ability to troubleshoot issues in online services system
  • Ability to develop tools using C#, SQL, ASP.NET

Mandatory Skills:

  • At least 3 years of experience working in C#
  • At least 1 year of experience in SQL and ASP.NET
  • Experience working on online services
  • Familiarity with the environment eg Product Studio, Source Depot, VSTS and WTT
  • Excellent oral and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • C# (Expertise level = Expert)
  • SQL (Expertise level = Good)
  • ASP.NET (Expertise level = Good)
  • Product Studio knowledge
  • Developers who have also worked in testing preferred
  • Previous experience working in Search a plus
