Senior Mechanical Design Specialist - die casting
Our client is a major vendor.Their products and services are deployed in over 140 countries and regions worldwide. They are steadily moving toward accomplishing the strategic goal of becoming the world's leading mobile phone brand within the next three years.
They are currently looking for a Senior mechanical design engineer to their Engineering competence centre to take on the challenge to plan and design the build-up future RF concepts. The work will be done in very close cooperation with system design teams in Kista.
They require at least 5-10 years of experience in mechanical design of RF concepts and products. ie RFU's, TRU's and RRU's. This means mechanical design experience of products with the high quality and the performance normally related to Radio products. Products that must also achieve low cost and high reliability and that are aimed for a high volume production.
They believe that this has given the candidate a deep knowledge of the die-casting process, of extruded/machined products and an understanding of the complexity of cooling and of EMC.
For this position they also value experiences of the platform, concept & product portfolio' discussions that take place during the initial phases of a product life cycle.
The candidate can of course communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing. They require Bachelor Degree, Masters in mechanical engineering or equivalent background

The candidate should have a strong feeling and interest for development and to share experiences with others in the team and have a proven capability to pursue creative solutions.
