IDPP are looking for a Functional Analyst with UML to work on a large public sector project in Brussels
Start date: October 2012
Duration: 6 months+
Location: Brussels
Rate: Market rate
Languages: French/Dutch + English
Project:
- You will discuss requirements with the business experts, analyse them and document in detail the specification for the functionalities required.
- You will also perform analysis for interfaces between the developed system and other systems and for migration of data of the Legacy systems to the new system.
- You will also explain the analysis to the designers and developers and answer their questions and help testers in defining test scenarios.
Required skills:
- At least 2 years of experience in functional analysis, preferable on large projects in the public sector
- Ability to bridge the gap between business and technical people
- A good knowledge of Object Oriented techniques and modelling in general and of UML
- Fluent in Dutch or French and a good knowledge of the other language
- Working knowledge of English
- Good communication skills (oral and written)
- Able to bridge the gap between the business and the technical teams
- A Master degree in mathematics, science, engineering or information technology
