Description:
Context: Within Infrastructure and Operations (I&O), the Systems Management team is responsible for defining, designing, implementing and improving the technical monitoring functionnality at the level of the Enterprise.
Our clients are:
- the Control Centre, using the console (Hypervision layer)
- the 2d and 3d support lines, supporting their platform through the Enterprise solution (currently based on Tivoli suite of products)
- the 2d and 3d support lines, supporting their platform through dedicated solutions that are/will be interfaced with the central Hypervision layer
- the developers, developing and transferring into QA and Production applications that must be monitored in order to ensure the required level of Service by I&O
Functions:
- Small developments, test, deploy monitoring solutions in QA and Production environments
- Solve incidents on monitoring infrastructure
- Root cause analysis of problems in monitoring solutions
- Participate to on-call process
- Ensure business continuity of the solutions developed
- Execute the standard enterprise processes (CMDB, ITIL processes)
Key Skills:
- Fluent in written and spoken English and/or (French & Dutch) - Candidates with all 3 will be Preferred
- IBM Tivoli Monitoring products (ITM5, ITM6)
- Unix (Shell Scripting)
- Education & Soft skills Bachelor/Master or equivalent by experience
- Team player
- Quick self-starter, pro-active attitude,
- Good Communication skills
- Good analytical and synthesis skills
- Autonomy, commitment and perseverance
- Ability to work in a dynamic and multi-cultural env
- Experience: - 5 of years of experience in a similar function
