Senior UNIX System and Software EngineerA leading provider of lithography systems for the semiconductor industry has an urgent requirement for a Senior UNIX System & Software Engineer within their Development & Engineering Department - Machine Control & Infrastructure Computer Systems. The Development & Engineering Department defines, develops and realizes the industry-leading lithography systems, allowing you to be working on some of the most complex production machines in the world - accurate to a few nanometers at very high speeds
The Senior UNIX System and Software Engineer will be based in The Netherlands on a contract basis.
The Senior UNIX System and Software Engineer will develop/redesign and maintain facilities related to system installation, packaging, patching, backing-up, networking, monitoring and diagnostics.
Essential Education and Experience
* Bachelor or Master Degree in Electronics or Software Engineering
* Must have experience in C, Shell, Perl, Python
* Solaris on SPARC processors and Linux on x86-64 processors
* Virtualization, performance and diagnostic analyses, packaging/patching strategies
* TCP/IP, NFS, FTP and VNC
Advantageous Experience:
* C++, Redhat Linux, WindRiver Linux, VMWare, Linux KVM, VxWorks and PowerPC#
