Description
My client a global pharmaceutical organisation requires x3 Project Managers who have experience working in an API pharmaceutical environment and managing capital projects above �£10m. The role of the Project Manager will be to manage, co-ordinate and support the successful delivery of API (active pharmaceutical ingredient) manufacturing / equipment upgrades. There Project Manager positions are based in different pharmaceutical facilities in the UK.Job Description:
* Project Management - To manage the specific project relating to the refurbishment of the site, including the implementation of the project plan, commissioning and qualification activities and handover to operations.
* Quality/Compliance - To ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with all relevant internal policies and external regulations / national legal requirements, including completion of all GMP commitments to plan - specifically relating to the accuracy of project documentation.
* People Management - To operate in a matrix organisation, driving the local team and contract companies to ensure that the project is delivered.
* Continuous Improvement - To explore and identify new and improved processes targeted at improvement in quality and operational performance.
Minimum Requirements:
* Significant period of relevant work experience in the pharmaceutical sector within an API manufacturing environment, preferably gained in a variety of functions
* A proven track record in delivery of complex cross-functional projects
* Experienced practitioner of good project management practices
* Able to forge good relationships with project members in a matrix organisation, where the project manager does not have line management responsibilities
