Our client a global pharma/biopharmaceutical organisation that develops, produces, packages and markets a wide variety of pharmaceutical / biopharmaceutical products, is seeking to hire a C&Q Lead Engineer required.The C&Q Lead Engineer will act as the technical expert and manage a large portfolio of projects in the Benelux region. The Commissioning and Qualification lead will need to be based in The Netherlands on a contract basis.
C&Q Lead Engineer Role:
* To develop and set up the Commissioning and Qualification strategies to enable capital projects to be executed in line with organisational standards and practices.
* Work with the EMEA C&Q Lead to implement C&Q standards and processes across the business portfolio.
* Manage and act as the primary interface between the organisation and third party suppliers.
* Actively liaise with the various stakeholders on the projects to ensure clear communication between all parties.
* Assist the project manager in the planning and tracking of construction, commissioning and qualification activities associated with all capital works.
* Assist where required in setting up the project management tools to allow visibility on issues as they arise especially regarding construction, commissioning and qualification activities.
*Assist in the bid analysis and award of C&Q contract to execute capital works.
*Establish a team structure that best meets the projects needs for successful planning and execution.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Bi-Lingual - English and Dutch
* Thorough knowledge and understanding of the QAQC in construction process
* Large CAPEX project experience
* Extensive C&Q experience in the pharma business on multiple projects in either bulk biotech, small molecule API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) or drug product sectors.
* Good communications skills and interpersonal skills.
