We are seeking an Instrumentation and Control (I & C) Engineer to take on a permanent role in Switzerland. Our client has a first class reputation as a developer and licensor of chemical process technologies used by clients throughout the world and has a team of professional chemists, engineers, project and business specialists dedicated to finding leading edge solutions to the needs of their clients.

Your tasks:

* Provide I & C Engineering expertise within an exisiting engineering team
* Development of concepts for instrumentation and automation of our systems
* Independent creation and editing of engineering documents
* Interface with suppliers for the electrical equipment
* Sales support in the field of electrical instrumentation
* Commissioning of new equipment
* Looking after the client`s pilot plants

Our requirements:

* You have a college degree in systems engineering, electrical engineering or similar and have experience in plant construction
* You have proven experience in the instrumentation of chemical plants
* Experience in process control and have experience and know how of modern communication interfaces
* You should be capable of analytical thinking and like to work in a small and dedicated Team
* You also enjoy working independently and are willing to take responsibility
* In addition to the popular Office programs, you have a working knowledge of MS-Access and Visual Basic
* Good command of spoken and written English and willingness to travel complete your profile
* Additional language skill including German and French would be very advantageous
