Description
A Leading Biotech Organisation, require a Sourcing Manager, for an initial 6 month contract, based in Ireland. The Sourcing Manager will lead supplier management, commercial and contract negotiations and lead cost saving programs on site.Role and Responsibilities:
* Develop and negotiate contracts for critical suppliers to site.
* Provide commercial input into various operations programs and lead supplier selection processes through formal RFP`s.
* Seek out and drive savings opportunities and meet associated cost reduction targets.
* Work with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, HR and other department functions to develop and negotiate contracts in these areas.
* Assist with developing and implementing best procurement practice and ensure the site is audit compliant.
* Own supplier management and develop a formal supplier review and report out process which supports continuous supplier performance improvement.
Skills and Experience:
* Candidates will need a broad procurement background within the Pharmaceutical or Biotech industries.
* Have experience of operations procurement, dealing with site and engineering support services.
* Have strong negotiation skills.
* Have experience with of achieving cost saving targets.
