Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to play a key role in tackling the range of exciting and interesting engineering and commercial challenges unique to offshore wind farms.

-Plan and manage the FEED works associated with the contract or group of contracts for which they are accountable
Manage the creation of technical specifications in accordance with the above strategies and their co-ordination with appropriate commercial terms and conditions.
-Managing a contract or set of contracts covering; design, manufacturing, Installation and commissioning in accordance with and to deliver within a set of targets and objectives set by the Senior Project manager.
-Management of a team containing specialists in Procurement, Legal, Engineering, Commercial Management, Operations, Development, Quality Assurance, Cost Management, Planning and Offshore Construction in order to deliver the contract or set of contracts within a set of targets and objectives set by the Senior Project manager.
-Planning and implementation of adequate auditing of the works of internal staff and contractors to ensure compliance to legislative and RWE requirements in regard to health & safety during design, manufacturing, installation and commissioning for contract or group of contracts for which they are accountable

-During the design and manufacturing phases the Project Manager is expected to have the capability to lead a team, of internal RWE staff (either FTE or contractor), which may be in excess of 12 persons in addition to managing the contractor(s) associated with the contract or group of contracts for which they are accountable.
-During the Installation and commissioning phases the Project Manager is expected to have the capability to lead a team, of internal RWE staff (either FTE or contractor) which may be in excess of 25 persons in addition to managing the contractor(s) associated with the contract or group of contracts for which they are accountable.

Knowledge and Skills
-A Project Management professional, ideally with project management qualifications and membership of an applicable association
-Significant and in-depth experience of Project Management in the Offshore Wind Energy industry or able to demonstrate transferable skills from another relevant industry.
-Demonstrable, in-depth level of competency in contract management, claims management, negotiation techniques and dispute resolution methodologies.
-Demonstrable competency in an engineering discipline associated with offshore wind construction projects (i.e. Structural/Civil, Electrical Systems or Wind Turbine Generators).
