Description
Commissioning Manager is required to join a global oil and gas company, located in Norway. The Commissioning Manager will be responsible for commissioning and start-up of a new oil & gas facility, supervise and complete a final hand-over.Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supervise the Commissioning & Start-Up Team with efficient management of the resources within the team through all projects phases.
- Manage the commissioning and start-up activities.
- Ensure final hand-over to Operations.
- Establish strategies for the commissioning and start-up activities for all project phases.
- Establish a ``Completion Preparation Deliverables Plan`` covering all project phases.
- Establish commissioning budget and monthly reporting routines for commissioning in close liaisons with the Sr. Cost estimator and Sr. Cost Controller.
- Produce commissioning and start-up execution strategies and plan that ensures a high degree of completion onshore and an efficient offshore hook-up, commissioning, start-up and hand-over.
- Ensure commissioning participation in review/selection of outside services and equipment suppliers.
- Establish attendance and activity matrix/plan for commissioning follow up during fabrication phase in close liaison with Project Manager.
Qualification Requirements:
- Engineering Degree
- Extensive relevant experience (onshore and offshore, project and operation)
