Our client is one of the UK`s leading renewable energy developers and operators, and is the UK subsidiary of a specialist renewable energy company.

Our client develops, builds and operates offshore wind farms along the coasts of several European countries. Our extensive project pipeline includes wind farms totalling over 4GW. Projects are constructed on a multi-contract basis with our client taking an active involvement in all engineering aspects.

The Construction Operations Co-ordinator will provide support to the Construction Managers and will have the day to day responsibility for the site management of all major and ancillary components for the Construction Works. The Construction Works includes, all components related to the installation of foundations, turbines, 132/33kV Substation and Inter-turbine Cables, including harbour management and collection of components from the manufacturing facilities.

Principal Accountabilities:
-Managing the onshore / offshore supply chain of components to facilitate installation of foundations, turbines, 132/33kV Substation and Inter-turbine Cables. This will involve contact / correspondence with external fabricators, vendors and the clients procurement team.

-Supporting the Client Offshore Representatives / Lift Supervisors and Contractor Site Supervisors in the execution of their roles with component location / delivery status reports and when necessary hands on help.

-Maintaining the site stores of rigging equipment, temporary generators, fuel bunkering, waste management and miscellaneous plant items including statutory records for testing / inspections.

-Promptly identify and notify the Construction Managers on any issue relating to the logistics management and supply chains during the course of the works and providing assistance in resolving any issues.

Knowledge and Skills:
-Experience in a similar position
-Construction knowledge in the offshore and wind power area or harbour and coastal waters construction
