Senior IT Expert - ISP
Our client, a large ISP with nationwide IT Network is currently looking for an IT Expert Consultant.
Responsibilities:
-Audit, review and assess an existing nationwide IT design & architecture
-Make recommendations on any changes in design, as well as configuration of various platforms (Switches & Routers etc)
-Make recommendations on how to improve Internet filtering at a national level
-Offer on the job training to ISP's existing staff on network design and configuration as well as best practice for things such as filtering, caching, Firewalls, traffic dimensioning, etc.
-Possibly a review of ISP's existing processes and procedures
Equipment on site: mostly CISCO and some ZTE
Requirements:
-Minimum 15 years experience in an IT environment
-Degree in IT/Engineering or equivalent
-Significant previous experience with ISPs
-Solid communications skills with fluency in English
Location: Kabul, Afghanistan
Salary: 700 USD per day negotiable for the right
candidate, transport, flights, accommodation, travel/rotation provided
Duration: 3 months extendable up to 8-10 months if necessary
Start date: around 2 weeks
