Description
Our client, a large consultancy, is looking for an SAP Solution Architect with explicit experience within Automotive and SAP VMS immediately, for a near 1 year project in Dubai.
A full time solution architect is required for the project to manage the solution design and ensure integration across all modules and business processes, as well as work closely with other areas in the design - eg OCM.
The solution architect will be responsible for managing all solution related activities from a QA and validation perspective to ensure they are built in line with the design, best practice, standard tools and methods. The solution architect will also be responsible for all implementation activities that work across work streams - eg managing change requests (thorough defining the possible solutions with the team and then conducting the first level of validation of CR;s before passing through for approval), ensuring project standards are adhered to across all implementation activities, involvement in defining test cycles and scenarios, working closely with the Project Manager to define cutover activities to promote visibility and understanding of solution being built. This role may also be required to validate solution impact on the other customer Automotive businesses not directly impacted by this project. This person will be an expert in the field of DBM and VMS and have had experience in at least 3-4 full cycle Automotive implementations.
The person should not only have deep technical and functional knowledge of the related automotive components, but also possess excellent business acumen and understanding of all the related business processes for an Automotive Dealer/Distributor business.
The person will also have strong communication skills at all levels. The preferred resource mentioned is due to his past involvement at the customer, and this will contribute to the project success.
