IT Support Analyst - Hedge Fund
Montash have been engaged by a Global Hedge Fund to source an IT Support Analyst to join a global Hedge Fund based in Hong Kong. The Support Analyst will be support all aspects of the technology relating to US trading and supporting the traders and staff to ensure the performance of the systems. The Support Analyst need a strong background in finance and have exposure to large risk management systems, Excel and Bloomberg. The Support Analyst will need an interest in Finance and an excellent technical understanding of programming, databases and development of IT infrastructures.
The Support Analyst will be responsible for designing, coding, testing debugging and documenting programs. The incumbent will be acting as the point of contact for the Technology team in Hong Kong and have strong relationships in place with the UK and US based teams.
Skills:
- Experience of working/supporting a trading desk
- A strong understanding of programming languages: Python, C#, VBA are preferred
- Excellent stakeholder management, both onshore and offshore engagements
- Exposure to Risk Management Systems; Front Arena or similar
