Senior Project Engineer/Oil and Gas
The Company:
Our client is a major operator within Oil & Gas and requires a Senior Project Engineer to join their Aberdeen operation.
The Role:
As a Senior Project Engineer your main duties will involve:
*Performing integrated planning for oil and gas assets;
*Coordinating facilities, engineering, planning and implementation;
*Coordinating offshore installation with drilling, well services and operations;
*Performing major shutdown planning for oil and gas assets.
*Coordinating overall plan across all disciplines - planning critical path, calculating resource loading, and monitoring earned value.
Essential Skills/Qualifications:
As a Senior Project Engineer you will have:
*Extensive experience within the Oil & Gas Sector;
*Familiarity with project management systems and applicable engineering codes and standards;
*Experience with risk management, change management, interface management, planning and cost control;
*Strong project/contract management, planning, reporting, communication and leadership skills.
Desirable Skills/Qualifications:
*BSc. Mechanical/Civil Engineering from an internationally recognised University
*Membership in a recognised professional engineering institution is preferable
