Description
We're looking for our first full-time Front-End Developer who will be responsible for the look and feel of our expanding product range. We're getting incredible traction, with a rapidly expanding client base and global demand - so you will have a direct impact on how the next set of releases is received by the international market.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience, and a proven track record of designing beautiful and compelling user interfaces
- Have a strong portfolio demonstrating your design experience
- Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, and XML
- Good knowledge of how SQL Stored Procedures, ADO.NET and ASP.NET programming works
- Knowledge of popular APIs such as Facebook, Twitter, Google Maps, etc.
- Solid understanding of layout, typography, color and other design principles
- Comfortable with layout and design applications such as Photoshop and Illustrator
- Able to take a holistic approach to web design that takes user flows, goals and page states into account
- An ability to prototype using the aforementioned technologies a strong plus
- Able to craft clean, usable experiences for web and mobile browsers.
Other requirements:
- Proven collaboration skills but also a resourceful self-starter that can work independently with simple instruction
- Strong attention to detail and a sense of pride and ownership over the quality of the product
- Prior experience in a start-up environment
- You should be highly opinionated about what constitutes good design and intuitive interactions
- Don’t mind working late when there are tight deadlines
- Urgency, initiative, strong communication and problem-solving skills
