Business experience required Years

Mandatory

  • Experience as a .NET developer on business applications.
  • Experience on modern web applications (eg JavaScript & ajax driven)
  • Experience as a software/application .NET architect.

Preferable

  • Experience on projects with different technology stacks, integration aspects (with packages or external solutions) & infrastructure aspects.
  • Experience in insurance or financial domain.

Technical experience required Years

Mandatory

  • Advanced knowledge & experience in .NET C# & NET framework (from 2.0 to latest)
  • Advanced knowledge & experience in following standard .NET technologies (ASP .NET forms & MVC, WCF, ADO.NET, Entity Framework).
  • Knowledge & experience in following other .NET technologies (REST, WIF, workflow foundation 4.0)
  • Advanced knowledge & experience of web client JavaScript (JavaScript, jquery)
  • Knowledge of technologies & framework around JavaScript (Jquery UI, Jquery templating, knockoutjs)
  • Knowledge of popular technologies & framework built around .NET (enterprise library, mocking framework eg Moq, IOC container, etc.)
  • Experience in unit testing frameworks (MSTest, Nunit..)
  • Knowledge of SQL Server
  • Knowledge of TFS (eg source control, Work items, Build)
  • Being aware of best practices, trends & evolutions of the IT industry and most particularly Microsoft technologies stacks.

Preferable

  • Experience in solving performance related problems specifically on web applications (eg caching + web traffic optimization)
  • Experience in automated performance & load testing
  • Experience in unit testing of UI & JavaScript (Qunit)
  • Knowledge of queuing, BizTalk technology
  • Knowledge of SQL server SSIS, SSRS..
  • Knowledge on SharePoint, dynamics CRM
  • Knowledge of authentication/authorization standards such as openID, SAML, EID usage

Functional experience required Years

Mandatory

  • Strong knowledge and experience of most common design patterns (dependency injection, MVC, MVVM) & OO
  • Experience in development guidelines,
  • Experience in software architecture

Objective of the job

  • Application Development projects
  • Design the technical (.NET) architecture of all starting application development projects.
  • Explain, coach & follow-up the .NET development team during these projects.
  • Give support to the development team & help to solve all occurring problems during development.
  • Collaborate with the colleague .NET architects and constructively come to the best solutions.
  • Collaborate with colleague architects to integrate the .NET part of the solution in the global solution.
  • Report to project leaders & managers on risks, issues, planning,

Quality Assurance

  • Assure the quality of new built and existing applications.
  • Propose the required standards, guidelines, best practices to maintain the quality at a high level.
  • Propose tools, techniques to be able to maintain the quality at a high level.
  • Analyze performance issues, search for root causes & solve these issues.
  • Propose KPI's to track quality or performance on a recurrent basis.
