Our global banking client are in the market for an experienced project manager with banking experience.
You will have full end-to-end responsibility for the management of multiple projects from initiation through implementation, including planning, Risk & Issue Management, Change Control, Documentation, Budget, Resourcing, Tracking & Reporting, and Stakeholder Management. The project will involve the development of a hedge fund trading tool.
You must be delivery-focused, 'hands-on,' who will add value and have the knowledge and ability to question the content and quality of work delivered on the project. Provides overall direction for establishing project requirements, priorities and deadlines.
You must have project management experience working within IT in the banking sector. Strong project management skills with experience of working in a driven and demanding environment.
Delivery-focused with a proven track record. Strong technical background with experience in creating requirement specifications. Excellent skills in Project Planning; Budgeting; Risk & Issue Management; Change Management Skills; Exposure to numerous software development methodologies (RUP, Waterfall, RAD etc) and ideally have knowledge or either .NET technologies.
