Senior Web Developer - Contract - Stockholm
My Client, a Leading Global Company, is currently transitioning into their new platform with heavy focus on client-side integration with services, and is looking for an expert to take the helm of their JavaScript efforts and bring the rest of the team up to speed on best practices. You will be joining an experienced and established team, with strong PHP and Drupal skills.
So, what will you be doing?
- Coaching the team in your areas of expertise
- Reviewing the existing client side code, refactoring and organizing it as necessary
- Developing and testing new requirements as a part of the team
What are they looking for?
- An experienced, highly motivated professional
- Ability to drive communication and share knowledge
- Experience with building "distributed applications" and API integrations
- Experience testing and troubleshooting OO-JavaScript
- Experience in supporting Legacy browsers
- Experience with high transaction rate systems
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Experience with agile development methods
- Good knowledge of software development process
- Communication skills in English, written and spoken
Desirables:
- Experience with jQuery, Handlebars, Underscore, RequireJS
- Experience Integrating with web services (AJAX, REST, JSON)
- Experience with PHP and Drupal
