Senior Web Designer - Contract - Stockholm
My client, a large organisation with a global presence are currently looking for a Senior Web Designer. They are currently moving a group of sites over to there new platform. You'll be bringing the team up to speed on best practices.
So what you will be doing?
- Your daily tasks will consist of coaching the team in your areas of expertise.
- Spearheading the implementation work, implementing a base theme, shared across all sites.
- Building the separate site designs on top of that base theme.
- Reviewing the existing markup and style sheets, refactoring and organizing as needed.
What are they looking for?
- A creative design eye
- A high level of finish to all their work
- Extensive experience with the Abobe Creative Suite
- Ability to drive the process and refine requirements together with stakeholders
- Experience with Drupal theming is a plus
- Experience with JavaScript and client side templating is a plus
- Experience with web performance best practices
- Experience in testing markup and style sheets in multiple browsers
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Good knowledge of software development process
