Job description
A Senior SAP BW Developer working in the MI CoE would be expected to deliver technical expertise to an exceptionally high industry leading level. Due to the senior nature and level of experience required we would expect the developer to be extremely self-motivating, self-starting, and independent. Project work will involve extended exposure to the business, frequently senior stakeholders, so high levels of confidence, knowledge, professionalism, and positivity are essential
Skills required
Technical: At least 8 year experience in SAP BW preferably in the Oil industry
- Project management skills leading on and off-shore resources.
- Solid communication skills for communicating to stakeholders, on- and off-shore developers and be able to challenge functional and technical designs in order get as close a possible a solid design
- Hands on experience with modelling complex data flows in BW 7.3
- ABAP Programming capabilities for building custom extractors and complex transformation.
- Extensive experience in performance tuning of data loading and query performance.
- Query building with Business Explorer Query Designer
- Experience with Business Consolidation in SAP (BCS)
- Experience with transport system in BW (STMS) and RevTrac tool for automated controlled transporting
- Knowledge of Process Chains for loading data a Control-M for controlling the data loading in BW.
- Experience with Business Objects and how to build for reporting in Business Objects (WEBI,CRYSTAL and Dashboards)starting version XI3
