Commercial Manager, Transport, Highways, Construction, Quantity Surveying, Contracts, Governance
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a high profile public sector client of ours. This role can be based either in Manchester or Leeds, with travel to other local sites. A Commercial Manager is required to provide management support to a wide portfolio of improvement schemes up to £300m in value. You will be required to successfully manage the commercial aspects of the schemes to ensure that contract compliance and risk are dealt with effectively.
Skills required:
- Degree in quantity surveying/engineering/construction related discipline or equivalent experience
- A quantity surveyor or experienced construction professional with a strong emphasis on commercial management
- Assessing/validating target prices, compensation events and applications for payment/final accounts
